We just came across this new site from York.
York is a brand we carry alongside of Lennox, and we have found York products to be of excellent quality and reliabilty. They are very cost effective as well.
If you're considering a variety of brands for your next project, it's definitely worth checking out the York lineup of residential and commercial heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners and RTUs.

Hot water heating with a heat pump - Hybrid System
This is a video of the next generation of water heaters; the hybrid design of using standard electric and heat pump technology. During low demands, only the heat pump is on (the section on top of the water heater), during higher demand periods, the electric heating elements also turn on to the assist the heat pump.
The small, white electrical port that can be seen on the heat pump section is a data port that communicates with your utility company so the unit consumes less electricity during perios of higher electrical cost.
The vent seen on top of the unit is the exhaust port. Once the heat pump has extracted the heat from the ambient air and into the water, the cold air is exhausted back out. Cool exhaust air can be vented into the home during summer months - a small amount of free air conditioning!

Commercial Air Conditioner Comparison
This is a video comparing two different commercial rooftop units both in air conditioning mode. The RUUD unit (a division of Rheem) is noticeably louder the the York unit. This is due more to the quality of installation than the differences between the equipment manufacturers.

Super Quiet Heat Pumps - available with solar power option
This is another Lennox XP Series heat pump that we installed. It's an excellent example of just how quiet a system can be when installed properly.

Lennox SLP98V Furnace
Ever wondered how quiet some of the new furnaces really are? Most people do, but how can you seperate facts from manufacturer propaganda? It tough. After your new furnace has been installed you can't change your mind.
For that reason we've uploaded a high-definition video with full audio, entirely unedited, so you can hear for yourself. Excuse the shakey camera and the installers talking in the background, but at least you can be reassured that the video is genuine.
Enjoy!

Referral Network
We're creating a referral network!
We recieve a large amount of requests to refer HVAC companies in areas outside of our service area, so we've decided to create an online referral service. The Canadian section is under development and the US section is coming this fall (it takes alot longer to develop a US system due to the market size).
Do you know of a company that you'd like to recommend for our list? If so, please email us at info@completeheating.ca
Thank you!
